FAQ

Questions Frank gets a lot.

Everything you need to know before you forward your first email.

Using Frank
The original sender of the email you forwarded to Frank. Frank identifies the author from the email headers and sends them a short note — along with a Frank Score. You get a quiet confirmation that it was delivered.
No. Frank strips all forwarding headers before sending feedback to the original author. Your email address never appears in anything Frank sends. The whole point is that you stay invisible.
Frank writes a short note in plain English with a Frank Score — three numbers (Clarity, Brevity, Tone, each out of 100) that give the author a concrete sense of where their email landed. Frank is direct. That's kind of the point.
Frank sends them one friendly explanation — what FrankReplies is, why they received the note, and how it works. After that, Frank goes silent. There's no back-and-forth, no escalation, and no way for the sender to identify who sent Frank.
Yes, for now. FrankReplies is free to use. If Frank helps make your inbox a little better, you're welcome to leave a tip — it helps keep Frank running.
Frank's Rules
Frank is built for organizational communication, not personal or sensitive correspondence. Frank won't act on:
  • Personal 1-on-1 emails (no mailing list or group context)
  • Emails from no-reply or automated sender addresses
  • Emails sent to or from political figures or organizations
  • Emails from domains on Frank's blocklist
If Frank can't act on an email, you'll get a brief note explaining why.
No. Frank caps feedback at 3 per recipient per 30 days, across all senders. Frank enforces this limit so that no single person is overwhelmed, regardless of how many people forward their emails.
Yes. If you're a domain owner and want your organization excluded from FrankReplies, reach out to us at frank@frankreplies.com. We maintain a blocklist and will honor reasonable requests.
